Good afternoon Sam, Bob, Wayne - - I too am a S3 - Pro user.. and am quite pleased with it overhaul handling..

The question is - - Have any of you had the buffer upgraded.. And if so what differences are there?

Hi Guys
Been using my S3PRO since i won it in 2005, (fuji distinction win) and ive shot many weddings , portaits , and model images on the camera.
The feel, and build quality is great, incidentally i have not held any other camera that feels like it grip wise. For anything other than fast paced photography it holds its own against most pro DSLR cameras (in my opinion). I have two Cannon cameras but if i want great looking JPEGS that i dont have to muck around with and quite AF plus a smooth shutter release then its a brilliant bit of kit, i only shoot now on raw and yes is slow and the software is tripe and windows vista hates finepix but the pics still are as good as anything especially up to 800 iso. Dont get me wrong its not a Mk11 ds, but its a great camera.

Nice to see this portrait of her, making good use of the force at the Banyan. Just a dropping few lines to say hello and let you know that we finally did not end up in the islands in Malasya.

We are right now in Chiang Mai and we are quite impressed by the pictures you have in your blog.

The photos are from Bangkok in Thailand… but yes those are some big questions. Personally, my thoughts are that no form of photography captures ‘reality’ in any definitive way. From the moment you make basic decisions such as what to put in the frame and leave out of it, what to expose for and what shutter speed to use, you’ve left objective reality, if that even exists.
The search for purity and truth in photography is futile IMO. Photography is art, and I like the mood of these photos which HDR enhanced.

Not that I hate HDR or PS but I guess any picture taken from a scenery or place is beautiful. There’s no need of editing or distorting it. I wanted to believe that these are the images you got from your trip to Singapore. But after all of the editions, I can’t say anything except that I’m seeing pictures similar to an animated show. Do you think it’s better to just stick with the traditional or to go digital?
